ILDA Meeting, Spring 2022

In April 2022, The Lab Depot attended the Independent Laboratory Distributors Association (ILDA) spring meeting hosted at the breathtaking Ritz-Carlton in Sarasota, Florida. CEO John Seelke, VP and CFO Jere Allen, Inside Sales Specialist Jacob Mahaffey, and Marketing Manager Danielle Schmidt attended the three-day meeting that included connecting with vendors, networking with other members of the organization, and listening to the keynote speaker, Patricia Rossi. Ms. Rossi spoke about fostering human connections, collaboration, and the etiquette of working together. Participants enjoyed casual activities together like golf and fishing as well as more formal events through the vendor exposition and special cocktail and dinner hours.

ILDA helps provide a community for laboratories, laboratory supply distributors, and manufacturers based on common interests and mutually beneficial relationship building. Conferences take place twice a year in different cities around the country. As a recognized member, The Lab Depot’s CEO John Seelke sits on the Board of Directors as ILDA’s Vice Chairman. The ILDA Board dedicates time and effort to researching industry trends and presenting valuable resources for its members regarding new and innovative developments that support the organization’s collective efforts.
