Intuitive Usability
Both models feature a 7-inch color touchscreen with an icon-driven interface for quick, hassle-free operation. Preprogrammed protocols allow easy setup, with results calculated and displayed in under 6 seconds. Data is stored internally and can be conveniently exported via USB.
Accurate Quantification
Smart-Q Fluorometers utilize selective fluorescent dyes that bind specifically to DNA, RNA, or proteins, generating a strong signal only when bound to their target molecule. Dual Blue and Red channels enable detection across a wide range of nucleic acid and protein assays. Advanced curve-fitting algorithms establish reliable calibration curves, correlating Relative Fluorescence Units (RFUs) with standard concentrations for precise measurement accuracy.
Throughput Options
- Smart-Q 100 - Designed for single-sample workflows, this model uses 0.5 mL assay tubes (NS1020-T), making it ideal for labs processing fewer samples
- Smart-Q 800 - A high-throughput solution capable of processing up to 8 samples simultaneously in 0.2 mL tubes or 8-strip tubes (F1001-T, F1001-T-8). Compatible with standard 8-channel pipettors for efficient parallel sample handling
