The Milwaukee MA871, MA886, and MA888 Portable Digital Refractometers are designed for fast, accurate measurement across a range of applications. The Milwaukee MA871, MA886, and MA888 digital refractometers deliver fast, precise measurements across a wide range of food, beverage, and industrial applications. All three models replace less accurate optical refractometers with a digital readout in under 2 seconds using just 2-3 drops of sample. Each unit features automatic temperature compensation (ATC), an easy-to-clean stainless steel sample well, and an IP65-rated housing that is dust-tight and protected against water jets.

- MA871 Digital Brix Refractometer: 0-85% Brix range with ±0.2% Brix accuracy, ideal for winemakers, brewers, fruit and vegetable growers, maple syrup and food producers
- MA886 Sodium Chloride Refractometer: measures NaCl concentration in food preparation in four units — g/100g, g/100mL, Specific Gravity, and °Baume — with ±0.2 accuracy across scales
- MA888 Ethylene Glycol Refractometer: measures 0-100% volume and freezing point down to -50°C (-58°F), ideal for coolant, antifreeze, and cooling tower applications
- Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) on all models for accurate readings across varying conditions
- Dual-level LCD/LED display shows measurement and temperature simultaneously
- Results in under 2 seconds with only 2-3 drops of sample required
- Simple one-point calibration using distilled or deionized water
- Sealed flint glass prism for easy cleaning and long-term durability
