Columbia CNA Agar Dehydrated Culture Media
Manufacturer: Neogen Inc.
Description
The medium's primary selective agents are Colistin and Nalidixic Acid, a powerful antibiotic combination that effectively inhibits Gram-negative organisms while allowing your target bacteria to thrive. As an agar base, Columbia CNA Agar requires the aseptic addition of 5% sterile defibrinated blood to become a complete medium. This addition not only provides a nutrient-rich base for fastidious organisms but also enables you to observe hemolytic reactions, which are of indicative value for identification.
Please note: This product is not intended for use in the diagnosis of disease or other conditions in humans.
