Description
The filter’s core strength is its capacity to handle large, difficult precipitates. It provides excellent retention for gelatinous precipitates such as aluminum hydroxide and ferric hydroxide. Its speed and 20-25 µm particle retention make it highly valuable for the routine cleanup of biological fluids and organic extracts during analysis. It is also specified for use in air pollution monitoring where a high flow rate is required to collect atmospheric dust. For maximum efficiency, the Grade 4 paper is also available in prepleated formats for even faster flow and increased loading capacity.
