The filter’s core strength is its excellent loading capacity—double the thickness of Grade 1—which prevents clogging and ensures a higher throughput of samples. It has a nominal particle retention of 6 µm, providing a strong balance of medium flow rate and fine particle collection. The extra thickness and increased wet strength make it a reliable choice for separating difficult solids. For enhanced convenience, the Grade 3 paper is also available in prepleated and disposable FilterCup formats.
