Description
The bags' primary benefit is their integrated sterilization indicator and high durability. A printed text indicator on the bag changes color to confirm that the contents have been subjected to the maximum safe temperature of 135°C (275°F) in the autoclave. Engineered for strength, the bags are highly resistant to tears and punctures and meet the stringent requirements of the ASTM D1709 puncture inspection standard. This ensures the secure containment of waste before and after sterilization.
The bags are designed for comprehensive safety and workflow efficiency. They feature the universal biohazard symbol for clear identification and are supplied complete with 20 cm twist tie wire closures that allow for controlled expansion and ventilation during the autoclave cycle. Available in a wide range of capacities, from 1 L up to 200 L, and in two thicknesses (1.5 mil and 2 mil), these bags provide a versatile and compliant solution for any waste volume.
