Laboratory Maintenance Insights:

• Sizing Guide: Before ordering, measure the internal ledge diameter of your desiccator. A plate that is too large will prevent the lid from seating, potentially ruining the vacuum seal or allowing moisture ingress.
• Thermal Shock: While porcelain is extremely heat resistant, avoid "quenching" a hot plate with cold water. Allow the plate to cool naturally to room temperature before washing to prevent structural cracking.
• Glaze Protection: To maintain the easy-clean properties of the glazed side, avoid using abrasive metal scrubbers. Standard laboratory detergents and soft brushes are sufficient for removing most residues.
