Operational Safety & Maintenance:
- Fluid Selection: Always use a manufacturer-approved heat transfer fluid. For operation below 8°C, a water/glycol mix is required to prevent internal freezing and evaporator damage.
- Airflow: Maintain at least 12–18 inches of clearance around the condenser vents to ensure maximum cooling efficiency and prevent the compressor from overheating.
- Pressure Monitoring: Regularly check the front-panel pressure gauge. A sudden drop in pressure may indicate a clogged strainer or a leak in your external plumbing.
