The Thermo Scientific™ 13-425 Screw-Thread Vial Kits are the standard for applications requiring larger sample volumes, such as environmental testing, compound storage, and high-capacity autosampler runs. These 15 x 45 mm vials provide a 4 mL capacity, significantly increasing the volume available for multiple injections or sample dilutions compared to standard 2 mL vials. Crafted from high-quality borosilicate glass, these kits offer excellent chemical resistance and thermal stability. Available in both Clear and Amber (for light-sensitive analytes), these kits provide a complete sealing solution with black polypropylene caps and various high-purity septa materials.

Chromatography Handling Insights:
- Autosampler Clearance: Ensure your autosampler is configured for 15 x 45 mm vials. Using these in a tray designed for 12 x 32 mm vials will cause mechanical interference and potential needle damage.
- Seal Integrity: For volatile organic compounds (VOCs), the Red PTFE/White Silicone septa are recommended for their superior ability to reseal after the initial needle puncture.
- Microsampling: If you find you need to recover small amounts from these 4 mL vials, they are compatible with 13 mm (8 mm O.D.) conical inserts.
