The rings are available in two materials to meet a variety of application needs. The polypropylene pouring rings are a great choice for general lab use and can be dry heat sterilized up to 121°C. For applications requiring higher sterilization temperatures, the ETFE (Ethylene Tetrafluoroethylene) pouring rings are the ideal solution, capable of withstanding dry heat sterilization up to 180°C. Both styles are designed to provide a secure fit on the lips of PYREX® media bottles with GL32 and GL45 threads, ensuring a reliable and contamination-free pour every time.
