Multichannel Liquid Handling Best Practices:

• Uniform Tip Seating: To ensure identical liquid aspiration across all 8 or 12 channels, gently rock the pipettor side-to-side when pressing down into the tip rack. Never bang or hammer the pipettor into the tips, as this can crack the internal manifold nose cones and disrupt the airtight seal.
• Roto-Lock™ Protocol: Always ensure that the Roto-Lock™ ring is clicked completely into the locked position before performing serial dilutions. This guarantees total volume consistency from the first column of your 96-well plate to the last.
• Fluid Dynamics Warning: When operating multi-channel tools, aspirate slowly and maintain the tips vertically in the reagent solution for 1 full second after drawing fluid to allow pressures to equalize smoothly across all channels.
