At the heart of the Multi-Prep is a powerful 805-watt motor and the innovative oscillating Spider Tube Rack. This rack mimics the up-down motion of hand-held homogenization, performing 60 oscillations per minute to ensure thorough sample breakdown in seconds. This automated approach eliminates the physical strain and inconsistency of manual methods, delivering reproducible results across every run.

• Multi-Prep Probes: Available in 7 mm (Open-Slotted) for liquids and soft tissues, or 10mm (Saw-Tooth) for tougher fibrous materials. Sold in 12-packs for maximum efficiency.

Analytical Handling & Safety:

• Sterilization: Multi-Prep Probes are built for longevity and can be sterilized by any standard method, including autoclaving, chemical cleaning, or flaming.
• Oscillation Mode: When active, the oscillation mode ensures that the generator probe reaches all areas of the tube, but note that it may slightly reduce the minimum effective sample volume.
• Maintenance: Periodically check the PTFE bearings within the probes for wear to ensure consistent 18,000 RPM performance.
