PALCAM Broth Dehydrated Culture Media
Manufacturer: Neogen Inc.
Description
The broth's unique formula is based on the work of Van Netten et al., providing a superior blend of selectivity and differentiation. Lithium Chloride is a key selective agent that helps inhibit competing organisms. A double indicator system of esculin hydrolysis and mannitol fermentation allows for clear differentiation: a blackening of the medium from esculin hydrolysis and a color change from the Phenol Red indicator provide an unmistakable sign of a positive Listeria presence. This medium requires the aseptic addition of a Palcam PAC Supplement to become a complete medium.
Please note: This product is not intended for use in the diagnosis of disease or other conditions in humans.
