The Complete Gregar Extractor allows continuous solvent displacement. This allows increased efficiency of the solid-solvent interactions. It comes complete with an extractor body, condenser, extraction thimble, and a solvent guide.
The Complete Gregar Extractor allows continuous solvent displacement. This allows increased efficiency of the solid-solvent interactions. It comes complete with an extractor body, condenser, extraction thimble, and a solvent guide.
The Gregar Extractor is the first major advance in laboratory extractor design in over 100 years. Developed by Joseph Gregar and Ken Anderson of Argonne National Laboratories, this extractor is the only unit on the market that can perform all three common types of extractions.
Features:
Extractor operates upon the principle of continuous solvent displacement
Sample can be immersed in solvent at all times
Increased efficiency of the solid-solvent interactions
Design eliminates packing and/or channeling of solid samples normally associated with common soxhlet extractors
Includes:
Extractor body
Cold-finger condenser
Extra coarse extraction thimble
Solvent guide
Please note: CG-1506-17, 24/40 250mL round bottom flask and auxiliary condenser (CG-1213 or CG-1218-A) are sold separately.
