Porcelain Buchner funnels are used in the laboratory to help separate liquid from solid. Used with a piece of filter paper, this serves as a block for the solid particles, and the remains filter into a receiving flask. These funnels function with strong chemical resistance, except for hydrochloric acid, and are available in multiple sizes and capacities.
