This complete Soxhlet extraction apparatus has a round bottom flask as its receiving container. This unit supports the continuous extraction of solids in conjunction with a suitable solvent. In addition to the round bottom flask, the full apparatus package also contains an Allihn condenser with an enlarged uptake tube and an extractor that can use glass or paper thimbles. Thimbles and replacement parts are sold separately. Available in three sizes.

The Chemglass Soxhlet Extraction Apparatus, Complete, Round Bottom Flask is similar to CG-1368, but supplied with a round bottom instead of a flat bottom flask.

Features:

Continuous extraction of solids with suitable solvent
Units supplied complete with a round bottom boiling flask, Soxhlet extractor, and Allihn condenser
Extractor capacity shown is the solvent volume held in the extractor to the top of the siphon tube
Siphon tube is protected from accidental damage by the vapor tube
Extractor has a standard taper outer joint at the top for connection to the condenser and standard taper inner joint at the bottom for connection to the round bottom boiling flask
Additional replacement parts are available

Soxhlet extraction apparatus uses cellulose, glass microfiber or fritted glass extraction thimbles (not supplied).
