Thiourea, Crystal, Reagent, ACS is an organosulfur compound that is structurally similar to urea. Used in organic synthesis to reduce peroxides to the corresponding diols, it can also be applied in the reductive workup of ozonolysis to then give carbonyl compounds. As an ACS grade Reagent, Spectrum Chemical manufactured compound is used as the quality standard against which other substances are grade and has met the toughest regulatory standards for quality and pureness.
