Description
Sodium Hydroxide, Pellets, BiotechGrade or caustic soda, is an inorganic, highly basic compound that is water soluble, as well as soluble in ethanol and methanol. One of its many characteristics is that it's a deliquescent alkali and absorbs carbon dioxide and moisture from the air. Spectrum offers highly pure reagents suitable for biochemical research and analysis. The critical parameters involved are absence of inhibitors such as traces of heavy metals as well as biochemical function tests for enzymes, coenzymes and enzyme substrates.
