Features:

• Self-Standing Skirted Bases: Specific configurations (C2630 and C2605) integrate an outer tracking skirt. This allows the tubes to sit perfectly upright on open benchtops without a support rack, simplifying rapid, single-handed fluid pouring or aliquoting.
• Individually Wrapped Sterile Security: The -W series presents each tube inside its own sealed peel-pouch. This maximizes aseptic integrity when working inside critical cleanrooms, surgical suites, or tissue culture biosafety hoods.

Laboratory Centrifugation & Thermal Safety:

• Rotor Balancing and Filling Rule: When spinning tubes under intensive relative centrifugal force (RCF), always balance your rotor symmetrically down to a fraction of a gram using identical fluid masses. Furthermore, check that your centrifuge’s rotor cushions or adapters provide proper structural support along the conical angle of the tube to prevent bottom-stress fracturing.
• Autoclaving Protocol: If you choose to autoclave the non-sterile bulk configurations (C2601-B / C2603-B) for clean operations, make sure the screw caps are resting loosely on the threads. Fully tightening the caps during a steam cycle traps air, building severe internal pressures that can warp the plastic housing.
• Cryo-Freezing Headspace: Polypropylene performs beautifully in deep freezes. However, when archiving liquid or aqueous solutions, never fill tubes past the 85% capacity mark to leave an adequate buffer zone for volumetric ice expansion.
