Key Technical Benefits:
- Ergonomic Drainage: The standard drain valve allows for complete emptying of the tank without leaving residue behind, significantly reducing maintenance time.
- Modular Expansion: The WTB is highly customizable. It can be outfitted with flat or gable covers to prevent evaporation, circulation pumps for enhanced temperature uniformity, or shaking devices for specialized applications.
- Compact Footprint: Despite its powerful 1000 W heating capacity, the WTB's design is optimized to fit on crowded laboratory benches.
- Corrosion Resistance: The use of high-grade stainless steel for both the chamber and housing ensures longevity even when used with aggressive media.
Laboratory Maintenance & Safety:
- Dry-Run Protection: To ensure the longevity of the heating elements, never operate the water bath without a minimum level of deionized or distilled water.
- Evaporation Control: For temperatures above 60°C, a gable cover is highly recommended to prevent excessive steam release and to maintain a constant water level.
- Cleaning Tip: The rounded corners are specifically designed to inhibit the growth of algae and bacteria. Periodically clean the tank with a non-abrasive stainless steel cleaner to maintain the reflective surface and efficient heat transfer.
