Key Technical Benefits:
- Vacuum Cycles: Memmert is the only manufacturer to offer controlled pressure oscillation. By cycling between two vacuum values, large amounts of dry air are admitted to absorb humidity and then immediately extracted, drastically reducing drying times for powders.
- Intelligent Direct Heating: Each thermoshelf can be individually calibrated and reacts precisely to different loads or moisture levels, ensuring a constant set temperature across all levels.
- Climate-Friendly Pump Control: The speed-controlled, chemical-resistant pump (optional accessory) is automatically detected by the oven. It only runs at the speed necessary to maintain the vacuum, significantly extending membrane service life.
- Superior Safety: The door construction is VDE-tested to be anti-splinter, providing peace of mind during high-vacuum operations.
Laboratory Maintenance & Safety:
- Pump Maintenance: Utilize the "Pump Flushing" program via the ControlCOCKPIT. This removes solvent residues from the pump membranes after a run, ensuring a significantly longer service life and maintaining a low ultimate vacuum of 2 mbar.
- Direct Contact: Since heat is transferred via the shelves, ensure your containers have flat bottoms for maximum contact. Using the thermoshelves directly for sample placement results in the fastest possible heat-up times.
- Documentation: The TwinDISPLAY includes a USB port and Ethernet interface. For regulated industries (FDA/GLP), use the AtmoCONTROL software to create validated documentation of both temperature and vacuum levels.
