- Paraffin Integrity: To maintain the best sectioning quality, keep the oven set exactly 2°C to 4°C above the melting point of your specific embedding medium. This maintains liquidity without causing thermal stress to the polymers in the wax.
- Audit-Ready: Use the integrated USB port to export temperature logs. This provides necessary documentation for GLP, CLIA, or CAP accredited pathology environments.
- Set-Point Wait: Always utilize the "Set-point wait" function on the ControlCOCKPIT to ensure your samples are not introduced until the oven has reached absolute thermal equilibrium.
