The Peltier technology allows for extremely low power consumption (approx. 140 W for smaller models).
Key Technical Benefits:
- Superior Homogeneity: Integrated fans within the Peltier elements ensure rapid energy transfer and a highly stable, uniform atmosphere across all shelf levels.
- Double Door System: Every model comes standard with fully insulated stainless steel exterior doors and internal glass doors. This prevents contamination and thermal fluctuations during visual inspections.
Laboratory Maintenance & Safety:
- Ambient Temperature Dependency: Peltier cooling is relative to the surrounding environment. To reach 0°C, the laboratory ambient temperature should not exceed 20°C to 22°C.
- Condensation Management: Since condensation forms on the Peltier element outside the chamber, ensure the rear of the unit has adequate clearance (at least 15 cm) for efficient heat dissipation.
- Operating Costs: Switching from a compressor unit to an IPPeco can reduce your annual electricity costs by hundreds of dollars per unit, significantly lowering your laboratory's CO2 footprint.
