Advanced "Plus" Mixing Functions:
The R2024 Plus model goes beyond simple rotation with four specialized modes:
- Mix: Combines standard rotation with oscillating "shaking" for high-intensity mixing.
- Pause: Intermittent stops during the rotation cycle to allow for settling or specific reaction kinetics.
- Rock: A gentle back-and-forth see-saw motion ideal for staining gels or washing blots.
- PCR Support: Includes a specialized holder for 96 x 0.2 mL tubes, strips, or plates.
Technical Tips & Operation:
- Optimizing Your Mix: For hybridization or rolling styles, tilt the tube holder assembly horizontally. For vigorous end-over-end mixing, keep the assembly in the vertical orientation.
- Cold Room Safe: Both models are designed to operate in environments from +4°C to +45°C, making them perfect for protein purification in cold rooms or incubation at body temperature.
- Interchangeable Racks: No tools are required to switch between tube holders; simply snap them on or off the main drive shaft.
