Rota-Rack® Adjustable Tube Racks

Each Module is Interlocked and Adjustable, Allowing You to Work with Multiple Sized Tubes. Choose between the Large Tube model for high-volume processing or the Microtube model for molecular biology and PCR workflows.

This versatile tube rack features interlocked and adjustable modules, allowing you to work with multiple sized tubes in the same rack. It accommodates a wide range of tubes from 10 mL to 50 mL, including culture, centrifuge, micro-centrifuge, round, flat, or conical bottomed tubes. Made from durable polypropylene, the rack is autoclavable at 121°C and includes four modules (purple, blue, green, and yellow) with a total capacity of 22 wells.

Key Functional Benefits:

• "Twist and Click" Orientation: Once you twist a module to your desired tube size, it clicks firmly into place. It maintains this orientation rigidly, allowing you to carry the fully loaded rack across the lab without fear of it slipping

Laboratory Bench Strategy:

• Autoclaving Tip: When running the Rota-Rack through a steam sterilization cycle, ensure no tubes are left inside the wells. Autoclave the rack completely empty at 121°C to allow uniform steam penetration and prevent uneven plastic expansion.
• PCR Strip Convenience: If you are utilizing the Microtube model (HS29040B), Side D is uniquely configured to support up to four 8-tube PCR strips simultaneously, making it an excellent station for master mix aliquoting.
• Color-Coded Workflows: Use the distinct purple, blue, green, and yellow sections to visually segregate different patient panels, dilution series, or experimental controls.
