Also commonly referred to as Rodac™ plates, these standard 15 mm x 65 mm contact plates feature the innovative LokTight™ locking lid that securely fastens to the base post-sampling through a simple three-step process: remove the lid, gently press the convex agar surface to the sampling area without twisting or sliding, then twist the lid clockwise until the frosted bands align to engage the locking mechanism for secure containment and laboratory transport. The friction lid design maintains secure placement before sampling to prevent pre-sampling contamination, while the molded grid on the plate bottom aids accurate fungal colony counting for trend analysis and action level monitoring.
