Each jar is coated on the exterior with a heavy-duty, PVC-based plastisol layer. In the event of an accidental drop or impact, the flexible outer safety skin contains the glass fragments and holds the liquid contents inside, giving technicians time for safe containment and proper disposal. The non-slip plastisol surface also improves grip stability when handling jars with wet or gloved hands. Fabricated from clear soda-lime glass conforming to USP Type III quality standards, these jars are available with or without pre-attached phenolic caps fitted with chemical-resistant poly-vinyl liners.
