PYREX® Iodine Determination Flasks, Glass No. 22 Standard Taper Stopper

Blown in custom-designed molds to guarantee uniform wall thickness, mechanical strength, and proper contour, each flask features an oversized, funnel-shaped liquid seal trough around the neck. During iodometric determinations, a small amount of potassium iodide (KI) solution or distilled water is poured into the trough. The hollow glass No. 22 Standard Taper stopper extends well above the collar, making it easy to remove without disturbing the liquid seal or introducing ambient atmosphere into the flask.
