PYREX® Goetz Pear-Shaped Graduated Centrifuge Tubes

PYREX® Goetz Pear-Shaped Graduated Centrifuge Tubes are made from durable borosilicate glass for reliable performance. They feature graduations for accurate measurements and are ideal for phosphorus determinations in iron and steel.

Features:

• Oil centrifuge tube with pear shape and round bottom
• Manufactured from Type 1, Class A Low-Expansion Borosilicate Glass
• Designed for heating by hot plate, flame, oven, microwave or heating mantle
• Can be heated many times to 230°C in normal service, heated one time to 490°C in extreme service
• Graduations are white enamel for durability
• Beaded rim
• Reusable tube
• Non-sterile
• Lower stem is graduated upward to 1 mL in 0.05 mL intervals
• Body graduations from:
• 1 mL to 5 mL, 1 mL intervals
• 5 mL to 50 mL, 5 mL intervals
• 50 mL to 100 mL, 10 mL intervals

*Withstands repeated autoclavable cycles of 121°C at 15 psi for 15 minutes

Note: This product is not designed for and is not rated for vacuum or pressure applications. Additionally, do NOT plunge product directly into a liquid coolant. Place the product in the vapor phase of the liquified gasses for slow cooling prior to immersion in the coolant.
