Falcon® Polystyrene Conical Centrifuge Tubes

Constructed from high-clarity polypropylene or polystyrene, Falcon® Conical Centrifuge Tubes feature a conical bottom for efficient sample recovery and easy volume measurement. Advanced resin selection and precision molding provide exceptional wall strength, supporting centrifugation up to 16,000xg (50 mL polypropylene). Unique double-threaded or dome seal caps minimize leakage and reduce cross-threading for secure sample containment. Falcon® tubes are nonpyrogenic, tested to less than 0.1 EU/mL, and nontoxic according to USP standards. They are engineered for low protein binding, minimizing interference in sensitive assays. Supplied in sterile, medical-style packaging with reusable racks or compact bulk packs, these tubes combine convenience, performance, and environmental responsibility.Support cushions (Catalog No. 352090) are recommended for 175 mL and 225 mL tubes unless using a rotor with appropriate V-bottom cushions, ensuring safe and reliable centrifugation.
