These freezers feature a microprocessor temperature controller and digital display, allowing for precise temperature control, verification, and recovery versus mechanical-style thermostats. Critical samples are security-backed with an extensive package of audible and visual alarms.

Controlled Auto Defrost Freezers include a Temperature Monitoring Device (TMD) which meets CDC guidelines to have an independent temperature monitoring device, reducing expense with a 3-year certificate of calibration, eliminating capital outlay for device recalibration.
