Light Enhancing & Absorbing Sealing Films

CELLTREAT Light Enhancing & Absorbing Sealing Films help optimize optical performance when working with black and white multiwell plates. Suitable for application to the top or bottom of compatible plates, these films can also be used to cover clear-bottom black or white plates in preparation for top-reading analytical equipment.

The black light-absorbing film helps reduce stray light and fluorescence, dampening background noise to improve signal clarity. It can also be applied to the top of black plates to fully shield light-sensitive samples. The white light-enhancing film reflects weak light and fluorescent signals, helping enhance output readings when greater signal reflection is desired.

Both films are made from vinyl with acrylic adhesive and are non-pyrogenic and RNase/DNase free. They are supplied non-sterile in bags of 50, with black and white options allowing laboratories to select the optical properties best suited to their assay or analytical workflow.
