Clear Sealing Films

CELLTREAT Clear Sealing Films provide multiple sealing options for multiwell plate workflows, allowing laboratories to select the film properties appropriate for their application. Available configurations include sterile breathable film, non-sterile clear sealing film, and non-sterile pressure-activated clear sealing film.

The breathable sealing film promotes uniform gas exchange, can be easily pierced with pipette tips, and helps reduce outer-well evaporation and cross-contamination. For applications requiring optical clarity, the pressure-activated film features low autofluorescence and is ideal for qPCR applications. Its silicone adhesive remains non-tacky until pressure is applied with a sealing paddle or roller, creating a strong bond while leaving non-activated areas non-tacky for compatibility with dry samples.
