High-Volume Cell Strainers

CELLTREAT High-Volume Cell Strainers provide a ready-to-use filtration solution for large-volume cell preparation and sample processing. Designed for use with 500 mL centrifuge tubes, the strainers accommodate tubes with inner neck diameters from 35 mm to 40 mm and can be used for applications such as isolating cells and removing clumps or debris.

The polypropylene housing incorporates a nylon mesh filter, eliminating the need to fabricate filters from gauze, paper, nylon mesh, or other materials. Hydrophilic treatment helps increase flow and reduce the effects of surface tension, while an extended housing lip enables aseptic handling with forceps and an elongated gripping tab provides convenient handling during laboratory workflows.

Available in 40 µm, 70 µm, and 100 µm pore sizes, the range allows users to select the filtration level appropriate for their application. The strainers are individually wrapped and supplied sterile for convenient use in workflows where contamination control is important.
