Features:
- Interference Masking: The included TISAB II contains CDTA (cyclohexylenediaminetetraacetic acid), which chelates interfering polyvalent cations such as Aluminum (Al3+) and Iron (Fe3+) that would otherwise complex with fluoride and cause low readings
- pH Stabilization: Maintains the solution at a pH between 5.0 and 5.5, preventing the formation of hydrofluoric acid (HF) at low pH or interference from hydroxide ions (OH-) at high pH
- Consistent Ionic Strength: Ensures a high and constant background ionic strength, so the electrode responds only to the activity of the fluoride ions
- Ready-to-Measure: Ideal for high-throughput environmental and municipal water labs, allowing technicians to pour and measure without additional pipetting steps

- Personal Protection: Wear nitrile gloves, safety splash goggles, and a lab coat.
- Storage: Store at controlled room temperature (15°C to 30°C) in the original polyethylene container.
- Crucial Handling Note: Never store in glass. Fluoride ions will react with the glass surface, leading to a decrease in fluoride concentration and potential contamination of the solution.
- Measurement Tip: To ensure accurate results, ensure your samples are also mixed with TISAB II in the same 1:1 ratio before measurement to match the matrix of this standard.
