Safety & Regulatory Information:
DANGER! Highly Corrosive & Sensitizing: Ethylenediamine is a strong alkaline material that causes severe skin burns and serious eye damage. It is also a known skin and respiratory sensitizer.
- Personal Protection: Use heavy-duty nitrile or Viton gloves, chemical splash goggles, a face shield, and a lab coat. Must be handled in a fume hood to avoid inhalation of corrosive vapors.
- Storage: Store in a cool, well-ventilated "corrosives" safety cabinet. Keep away from strong oxidizers and acids.
- Shipping Restrictions: This is a DOT-regulated hazardous material (UN1604). It only ships to registered commercial or research facilities. No residential delivery.
