Available in polypropylene or polystyrene, these Globe Scientific test tubes, 5 - 15 mL, provide great value for a wide variety of sampling needs. The polypropylene tubes can withstand up to 3000 RPM in the centrifuge, autoclaving, and freezing. The polystyrene tubes have different tolerance and can only withstand up to 1500 RPM of centrifugation. In addition, tubes can store samples aerobically or anaerobically.

Globe Scientific's plastic culture tubes are produced in polystyrene (PS) or polypropylene (PP). The polystyrene tubes can withstand 1500 RPM during centrifugation. polypropylene tubes can withstand 3000 RPM and are autoclavable and freezable. Tubes with dual position snap caps (LDPE) provide either aerobic or anaerobic storage of samples.
