Stannous Chloride, Dihydrate, Crystal, Reagent, ACS is also known as Tin Chloride, has a white solid crystal like aspect. Mostly used in electrolytic baths destined for tin-plating, it is also widely used as a reducing agent. In the textile industry it is employed as a mordant to increase the brightness of certain colors in the fabric. It is also employed by metal enthusiasts to determine platinum and gold group metals.
