Sodium Nitrate, Crystal, Reagent, ACS, is a white solid that is particularly soluble in water and in used in the production of fertilizers, gunpowder, glass, pottery enamels, solid rocket propellant and others. It is also notably used in the production of food as a food additive. As an ACS grade Reagent, Spectrum Chemical manufactured sodium nitrate is used as the quality standard against which other substances are graded and has met the toughest regulatory standards for quality and pureness.
