Sprout® Portable Centrifuge Kits

The Portable Centrifuge Kit by Heathrow Scientific offers a convenient way to spin down and prepare samples outside of a conventional laboratory to prevent deterioration. Immediate field processing that is easy to use and offers portable convenience. The kit includes a Sprout®Plus Mini Centrifuge securely housed in the DuraPorter® transport box, specially designed inserts to seat the centrifuge, accessories, and a 16-place microtube rack. The DuraPorter® is transparent for sample visibility and integrity checks.

Sprout® Plus Mini Centrifuge:

The Sprout Mini Centrifuge is designed with user comfort and safety as top priorities. Its ergonomic design ensures ease of use, especially in repetitive tasks. The tool-free SnapSpin rotors allow for quick and easy rotor changes, while the quick-spin options make it simple to perform rapid centrifugation. The locking lid is tailored to fit comfortably in the palm, enabling easy opening and tube extraction with just one hand. The large lid size is particularly beneficial as it accommodates a range of tube sizes, including longer and skirted tubes, as well as those with tall lids.

The centrifuge's safety features include a braking function that stops the spinning process immediately when powered off or when the lid is opened, reducing the risk of accidents. Additionally, the weighted, rubberized base keeps the centrifuge stable during operation, minimizing movement, vibration, and noise.

This centrifuge is particularly suitable for microfilter cell separations and HPLC sample preparation. It comes with adapters to fit various microtube and PCR tube sizes (0.2, 0.5, 1.5/2.0 mL) making it versatile for different lab applications.
