HTS Transwell® 24-Well Non-Treated Sterile Reservoirs

The defining technical feature of these reservoirs is the Not Treated (non-tissue culture treated) surface. This specific finish is designed to prevent cell attachment, ensuring that proteins and cells do not adhere to the reservoir walls. By using a single, large rectangular well instead of 24 individual wells, these plates allow for the simultaneous processing of an entire Transwell® insert, greatly simplifying liquid handling and reducing the risk of air bubbles.

Application Note:

These reservoirs are primarily used during the feeding or washing phases of Transwell® experiments. Instead of manually filling 24 individual wells in a receiver plate, the Transwell® insert is lowered into this single reservoir. This is particularly effective for high-throughput applications where minimizing pipette steps is critical for both speed and sterility.
