Falcon® Cell Culture Insert Companion Plates provide a practical, contamination-minimizing solution for insert-based assays, enhancing precision and workflow efficiency These companion plates feature two key functional positions:
- Feeding Position: Enhances pipet access to the basolateral side of inserts, allowing for quick, consistent addition of reagents and easier media aspiration, reducing contamination risk.
- Incubation Position: Locks inserts securely in place to prevent media wicking between the insert and well wall. The low-evaporation lid uses a tortuous air passage system to reduce both evaporation and contamination during incubation.
