The compact and versatile Ohaus ™ ION-100A Ionizer helps create a stable environment when working with laboratory plastic and glass. In particular, when weighing samples or materials with plastic or glass, an ionizer helps weigh more accurately by eliminating static electricity which these pieces are prone to attract. DC Corona technology releases ions directly into the air around samples, helping these units function fan-free, causing no sample disruption or extra air streams. Height and angle are both adjustable, and the accompanying, long-running electrodes have an estimated operating life of 15,000 hours.

ION-100A ionizer optimizes the accuracy of results when weighing extremely finite samples by mitigating static charges that can lead to inaccuracies. It eliminates static electricity on plastic and glass weighing vessels which are particularly prone to attracting static charges. The ionizer adds an extra level of assurance that outside factors will not impact the accuracy of weighing data.
