Laboratory Care & Handling:
- Sterilization Warning: While these bottles are highly chemical resistant and freezer-safe, HDPE is not autoclavable. If your protocol requires heat sterilization, please look at our Polypropylene Narrow Mouth options.
- Freezing Protocols: When storing liquids in the freezer, ensure the bottle is not overfilled (leave approx. 10–15% headspace) to allow for liquid expansion and prevent the bottle from cracking.
- Shipping: These bottles are durable enough for shipping; however, for air transport, we recommend secondary containment to comply with IATA regulations regarding pressure changes.
