Plastic Vacuum Desiccators

The desiccator's robust construction and thoughtful design provide superior performance and convenience. A polycarbonate cover and a polypropylene base make the unit unbreakable, while a neoprene "O" ring provides an excellent, greaseless seal. It holds a high-quality vacuum of 740 mm Hg for up to 24 hours. A key feature is the vacuum retention valve, which allows air to be re-admitted slowly to prevent any disturbance to your samples. A removable pan for a drying agent, such as calcium chloride, is also included for your convenience. The desiccators are available in three capacities to meet a variety of lab needs.

Usage Instructions:

1. Remove the cover in PC - insert the samples in the pan
2. Open the vacuum retention valve (PE needle) and connect the tube of the pump to the desiccator spigot in order to create a vacuum
3. Close the vacuum retention valve
