The caps’ primary benefit is their superior heat resistance. They are made from Polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), a material known for its strength and thermal stability. For an even more secure and leak-proof seal, each cap is fitted with a Polytetrafluorethylene (PTFE) liner, which also provides excellent chemical resistance. Available in both GL32 and GL45 thread options, these color-coded red caps ensure seamless compatibility with your PYREX® bottles.
