- Clear Hinged Lid: The permanent hinge prevents lid mix-ups and allows for easy one-handed operation while wearing bulky cryogenic gloves
- Alpha-Numeric Indexing: Features high-visibility printed grids on the lid and base, facilitating GLP-compliant sample tracking and organization
- Drainage & Airflow: Engineered with ventilation holes in the base to allow for rapid drainage of liquid nitrogen and efficient cooling/thawing
Laboratory Storage Tips:
- Autoclaving: While these boxes are rated to 121°C, ensure the lid is slightly ajar or the box is empty during autoclaving to prevent pressure build-up or potential warping of the polycarbonate hinge.
- Rack Compatibility: These boxes feature the standard 133 mm (5.25") square footprint, allowing them to slide easily into most upright or chest freezer drawer systems.
