The cassette has an integral lid that snaps apart and securely locks into the base of the cassette. The lid can be removed and reattached repeatedly to access the specimen. These cassettes are not suitable for use on cassette printers.

- Extra large textured writing surface
- Wide finger tab on the back of the cassette for easy opening
- The lid designed to be removed from the base and reinserted into front tabs to lock into place
