The Benchmark Incu-Shaker™ Mini CO2 is a specialized, all-in-one solution designed specifically for the culturing of non-adherent cells. By combining a precision CO2 incubation chamber with a powerful, beltless orbital shaker, this unit provides the ideal environment for suspension cultures, all within a compact benchtop footprint of 46 Liters. The incubator utilizes a proprietary six-side heating system and a low-speed internal fan to achieve a temperature accuracy of ± 0.1°C. For sensitive applications where cross-contamination is a primary concern, the internal fan can be disabled, allowing the unit to operate via gravity convection without compromising thermal uniformity.

Operational & Maintenance Insights:
- IR Sensor Calibration: The infrared CO2 sensor is the heart of this unit. Unlike older thermal conductivity (TC) sensors, the IR sensor does not require recalibration after door openings, but it is recommended to verify CO2 levels annually with a handheld analyzer.
- Humidity Management: To prevent evaporation of media in your shaking flasks, always keep the integrated humidity stainless steel water pan filled with distilled water.
- Load Balancing: When using high-speed shaking, ensure your flasks are distributed evenly across the platform. The MAGic Clamp system is highly secure, but unbalanced loads can lead to premature wear on the motor drive.
